→ Ecological Tourist Site Vàm Sát
Vamsat is one of two good practices “Sustainable development of ecotourism” in Vietnam which were recognized by The World Tourist Organization.
Over 40 years ago, this area was a primeval dense salt-march forest with several big and tall secular trees and a diversity of plants, variety of animals and birds,… After war, the Can Gio mangrove forest ecosystem seem to be disappeared. People must be struggled for survival to the illess, and it was difficult to recover the forests with serious difficulties and deprivations in amny years. Bat Swamp has beautiful sightseeing. It adorns the blue river with the pictures of food. Coming inside, excursionists could see many flying foxes hang loosely on high mangroves peaks.
When the first sunbeams light up to forest, each herd of birds will fly to search for food in nearly area rivers, canals, ponds, swamps.
From the observatory with binocular, excursionists could see the whole place where many birds make its nests. The excursionists could visit through the forest by electric-boat or by their feet.
The wild animal sanctuary have build to become the fety area where attracts many kinds of wild animal living ,to protect them as well as to restore ecological environment .
Tang Bong tower locates in the middle of Vam Sat tourist area, with 25m height, that the excursionists could enjoy a panoramic view of the forest.
